Colleagues — amid our turbulent world — it is worth recognizing the families of those who gave their all so that we could be free. This includes the children of Defense Intelligence Officers killed in the line of duty. To such end, I would like to call your attention to and encourage you to register for the Defense Intelligence Memorial Foundation’s Annual “TechTalk” series is an annual networking event designed to introduce business leaders to each other and to emerging technology issues in the Federal market. Dress is business casual.

Proceeds from TechTalk go directly to fund scholarship programs supporting the children of fallen defense intelligence officers. As you can imagine, especially in today’s turbulent world, the need to honor the families and recognize the memory of those who gave their all so that we could be free is essential.

I’m also honored to have a chance to serve as emcee for the event, with Brian Drake, President and CEO of the Defense Intelligence Memorial Foundation (DIMF), Rod Beckstrom, Former CEO of ICANN and Director of the DHS National, and perhaps most importantly Avril Haines, Director of National Intelligence speaking. She is the seventh Senate-confirmed DNI in our nation’s history and the first woman to lead the U.S. Intelligence Community.
